The Meadowland Charter School celebrated its graduation for the Class of 2016 on Sunday, June 5th.

Speaker Heather Mauzé, Director of the Division of Charter Schools at the Texas Education Agency, provided words of wisdom and inspiration to our new graduates in her uplifting keynote.
The Hill Country Optimist club awarded three $500 scholarships to RAFAEL JUAN ORTEGA, FRANK NITTE-NARVES ROSS, and ROBERT MARK WALLER. The Life Grant was established to assist at-risk youth taking their first steps in building a career, and can be applied to tuition and fees and/or supplies for enrollment at a college/university, vocational/technical institute, or job training.
